Azita Ghanizada

Azita Ghanizada is an Afghan American actress in the United States who has appeared in several TV shows. Born in Kabul, Afghanistan. Her parents left for the US and were given asylum. She is the middle sister of two sisters and was raised to a young age in Northern Virginia. Ghanizada's on-air career began by appearing in a variety of National Commercials. Ghanizada's role on the Laura Neri 2004 film A Kiss on the Nose as Chiara received her a nomination for Best Actress in a festival. The roles she played on television are How I Met Your Mother Entourage Veronica Mars The Wedding Bells NUMB3RS Bones Psych and Castle. She most recently had a supporting role in the science-fiction action movie Blood Shot (2009) and the independent comedies You Only Better (2009). Ghanizada began her acting career in 2008 as a cast actor on General Hospital's premiertime spinoff General Hospital. In the second season of Nightshift she played holistic specialist Doctor.
